LOGO... SENSE? NONSENSE??

ok.. supreeth asked us how important logos were. i did some thinkin (yea really) and i think designin a logo or logos in general is definitely important in today's advertisin world. supreeth came up with the point that if we can just write the name of the company in some cool font and colour wat use does the logo become.. right?? yea sure to a certain extent. i think thats all fine but wat makes the difference between two companies who do that? off course the fact that they might be poles apart in different accessories, different quality and all that jazz but how does one show that in its name.. and thats when it came to me. LOGO. thats wat makes the difference. the logo, its style, its design, colour and wat not shows u how the company is. it becomes an identity. and i feel an identity for the company is really important thru a logo. it becomes the company. right? now.. tell me wher i've gone wrong.. :-)

CREATING MY LOGO.. THE HOW..

When i designed my logo i kept a few things in mind. They're an American based organisation, sub-branchin themselves in India and they're a christian organisation. So i decided to keep it simple and drew out the outlines of india and america, played around with them and came up with wat u see. Then i figured since they're a christian organisation givin a helpin hand the pair of hands came into play. basically sayin all is in His(god's) hands. Thats the jist of it. And its been accepted so i guess they liked wat i did. So there..

UR TWO CENTS...

so thats the basic idea.. i know this requires a lot of commitment and its gonna be a real challenge.. so if any of u got any idea or ur two cents as it were please post them here.. i really could use the help!!
